Neonatal Resuscitation Training

Last week we were in Manta doing NRT training with 100 doctors, nurses and birth attendants.  Working with national health organizations and ministries of health from countries around the world, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has sent volunteer physicians and nurses to instruct birth attendants on neonatal resuscitation techniques. With such training, attendants are able to help save the lives of babies who have breathing difficulties at birth. After the training these doctors and nurses take the donated equipment back to their hospitals and train others.
